Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Learning Cycle 5E learning model assisted by interactive website media on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education for fifth-grade elementary school students. This research uses a quasi-experimental design with a quantitative approach. The research subjects consisted of 20 fifth-grade students of SDN Sirapan 01 as the experimental class and 18 fifth-grade students of SDN Sirapan 02 as the control class. The experimental class received treatment in the form of implementing the Learning Cycle 5E model assisted by interactive website media, while the control class used a conventional teacher-centered approach. Data were collected through a test instrument of 20 multiple-choice questions that had been validated and had an excellent reliability level (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.935). Data analysis was performed using the Independent Sample t-Test through IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results showed that the t-count value was 3.887 with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the experimental and control classes. The average post-test score of the experimental class (71.00) was higher than the control class (61.11). Therefore, it can be concluded that the Learning Cycle 5E learning model assisted by interactive website media is proven to be effective on the Pancasila Education learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students.
