Abstract
This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Grobogan 02 in the subject of Pancasila Education, which were caused by one-way teaching, a lack of engaging learning media, and the failure to implement teaching methods that accommodate the different characteristics of each student. This study aims to describe the implementation of differentiated instruction aided by the KASILA (Kantong Sila Pancasila) media and to determine the improvement in students’ learning outcomes after the instruction was implemented. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of several steps, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 18 fourth-grade students at SDN Grobogan 02, comprising 10 girls and 8 boys. Data collection techniques included observation, testing, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted using both qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of media-assisted differentiated instruction using the KASILA media was successful and improved student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by an increase in the average score from 65.83 in the pre-cycle to 77.78 in Cycle I and further to 92.78 in Cycle II. Meanwhile, the percentage of students meeting learning standards increased from 44.44% to 66.67% and reached 100% in Cycle II. Thus, the implementation of differentiated instruction supported by the KASILA media can improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Grobogan 02 in the subject of Pancasila Education.
