Abstract

This study aims to enhance the creativity of fifth-grade students at SDN Pule in Indonesian language learning by using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model through Canva as a learning medium. The background of this research stems from a conventional, rote-based learning process with limited student engagement, resulting in a less conducive classroom environment. This research employs a qualitative approach with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 11 fifth-grade students, comprising 6 boys and 5 girls. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation related to the use of Canva media. The results showed that in the first cycle, the students' creativity indicators reached 55% or 6 students. In the second cycle, student creativity increased to 82% or 9 students classified as creative. This improvement indicates that using Canva as a medium is not only enjoyable but also creates a more conducive classroom atmosphere and more meaningful learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the PjBL model through Canva media has a positive impact on enhancing the creativity of fifth-grade students in Indonesian language learning at SDN Pule.
