Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by Google Sites media on critical thinking skills of fifth grade students. critical thinking skills of grade V elementary school students. This research uses an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design. experimental method with a quasi-experimental design. The research subjects consisted of two fifth grade classes in an elementary school that were randomly selected as experimental and control classes. and control class. The experimental class applied the PBL model assisted by Google Sites, while the control class used the direct learning method. Sites-assisted PBL model, while the control class used direct instruction method. The research instruments used included a critical thinking ability test. critical thinking ability test. Data analysis was carried out using the t test to determine the difference using the t test is 4.638> t table 2.010. This value shows that 0.000 <0.05 states that there is a significant effect that has been given to the variables.that has been given to the variable. Then H₀ is accepted and Hₐ is rejected. In addition, students' responses to learning with Google Sites media showed a high level of satisfaction and engagement. media showed a high level of satisfaction and engagement.
