Abstract

Project-based learning (PjBL) with a product differentiation method is an innovative approach to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes. This study aims to enhance the motivation and learning outcomes of biology class X students at SMAN 4 Madiun by implementing the PjBL learning model with a product differentiation method. The method used was classroom action research (PTK) using the model developed by Kemmis and Taggart, which consists of four components: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed an increase in student learning motivation categorized as high and very high, from 36.10% in cycle I to 55.60% in cycle II. In addition, the classical completeness of students' biology learning outcomes increased from 72.2% in cycle I to 94.4% in cycle II. Based on the results of observation and data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of the PjBL learning model with the product differentiation method is effective in increasing the motivation and learning outcomes of biology class X students at SMAN 4 Madiun.
