Happy Cahyo Prakoso. 2024. The Effectiveness of Behavior Group Counseling Symbolic Modeling Technique to Increase Learning Responsibility of Class X Students of SMAN 4 Madiun. Thesis. Guidance and Counseling Study Program, FKIP, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisor (I) Dr. Dahlia Novarianing Asri, M.Si., (II) Diana Ariswanti Triningtyas, S.Pd., M.Psi. The behavior of learning responsibility is very important for students in school, because with a sense of responsibility will bring motivation and interest to learn and follow every activity in school The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of behavior group counseling symbolic modeling techniques to increase the learning responsibility of class X students SMAN 4 Madiun. This study used a quantitative experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with a scale model. The normality test used SPSS version 25 with the Shapiro-wilk method. The test method used in this analysis is non-parametric measurement, namely the Wilcoxon test to determine whether there is an increase in learning responsibility or not after being given behavioral direction using behavioral counseling services symbolic modeling techniques. Based on the results and discussion of the research, that the group counseling service displays video content as a motivator that is expected to be imitated and applied by students in their daily lives in learning. Research shows that there are significant changes in learning responsibility behavior after being given group counseling services. So it can be concluded that group counseling services behavior symbolic modeling techniques are effective for increasing students' learning responsibility behavior.
