Finika diah risna. 2024. The influence of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) learning approach on reading comprehension skills in elementary schools. Thesis. Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, FKIP, UNIVERSITAS PGRI MADIUN. Advisors (1) Sri Lestari, S.Pd., M.Pd. (II) Dewi tryanasari, S.Pd., M.Pd. This study aims to determine the effect of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) learning model on reading comprehension skills of grade V students of MIN 2 Madiun City. This type of research is a Quasi Experimental Design study. The design form of Quasi Experimental that will be used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design with a population of 178 grade V students of MIN 2 Madiun City with a "simple random sampling" sampling technique. The data collection method is carried out using the test method, namely with an objective test instrument (multiple choice). Based on the data from the experimental and control classes, it shows that there is a significant difference between learning using the CRT approach and learning using the discovery learning model, this is proven by t count = 2.296 and t table = 1.194, because t count > t table then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, therefore it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the CRT learning approach on reading comprehension skills of class V MIN 2 Madiun city.
