Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between motivation and discipline with mathematics learning outcomes of grade V SDN Purworejo 02 Kec. Geger. This type of research uses quantitative research with correlational methods to test whether there is a relationship between student motivation and discipline partially and together on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade V SDN Purworejo 02 Geger District. The population in this study were grade V students of SDN Purworejo 02, totaling 20 students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The data collection technique was carried out by questionnaire. The results of the data prerequisite test show that the data is normally distributed and has a linear relationship. Hypothesis testing uses partial T test to test each independent variable and F test to test the variables together on learning outcomes. The results of the T test of the learning motivation variable show the tcount of 2.261 and the tcount of the discipline variable of 8.051 with ttable = 1.739, then Ha is accepted. The results of the simultaneous F test show the number fhitung 55.004 and ftabel = 3.55, then Ha is accepted. The results of the study can be concluded that partially and together there is a relationship between motivation and discipline with the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN Purworejo 02 Geger District.
