Abstract

The study aims to find out the impact of the Geoboard media-aided Problem Based Learning model on the cognitive learning outcomes of Mathematics students in the fourth grade of Elementary School. This research uses the Pre-Experimental Design research method using the One Group Pretest-Posttest research design. (Tes awal-Tes akhir pada kelompok tunggal). The study was conducted at SDN Magetan 1 by taking a class IV sample of 38 people. The data analyzed in this study is validation test, reliability test, normality test, homogenity test, and hypothesis test. The data obtained from the test results are used to test the research hypotheses using the help of the SPSS application 23. From the data analysis results obtains Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 with α = 0,05 which means Sig. (2.-tached) < α (alpha) 0,000 < 0,05. This indicates that Ho was rejected and Ha accepted which means that the Problem Based Learning model with the aid of Geoboard media influenced the student's cognitive learning outcomes, with the difference between the average after treatment (Posttest) higher than the average value before treatment (Pretest).
