Abstract

ABSTRACT Sela Jihan Monica, 2024. The Influence of the DL Model assisted by Animation Media on the Storytelling Skills of Class IV Elementary School Students. Thesis. Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, FKIP, PGRI Madiun University. Supervisor (I) Dr. Ivayuni Listiani., S.Pd., M.Pd. , (II) Dr. Hendra Erik Rudyanto., S.Pd., M.Pd. The research aims to find out whether the DL model assisted by animation media has an influence on class students' storytelling skills IV elementary school. The research uses a quantitative research type with a research design using True Experimental Design with a Posttest Only Control Group Design type of design. The research sample was class IV A, totaling 20 students as a control class using the lecture method without using animation media, only story text and class IV B, totaling 20 students, as an experimental class using the DL model and animation media. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be seen from the results of the posttest in class IV A as a control class which only uses the lecture method and story text without animation media which has an average score of 59 while the results of the posttest in class IV B as an experimental class using the DL model and media animation has an average value of 69. Hypothesis testing is carried out using a t-Test type Two Sample Assuming Equal Variance t test with the calculation results tcount (2.821) > ttable (2.010), tcount > ttable from these results it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. It can be concluded that the research using the DL model assisted by animation media had a significant influence on the storytelling skills of fourth grade elementary school students.
