Writing is one of the essential language skills that elementary school students are expected to master, particularly in writing speech texts. However, many students experience difficulties in generating ideas, organizing their thoughts, and composing speech texts systematically. One instructional strategy that can address these challenges is the Mind Mapping learning model, which enables students to organize ideas visually and develop their writing more effectively. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Mind Mapping learning model in teaching speech text writing to sixth-grade students of SDN Gonggang 4, identify its benefits, and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its implementation. This study employed a qualitative descriptive research design. The research subjects consisted of the sixth-grade teacher and sixth-grade students of SDN Gonggang 4 selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Mind Mapping learning model was conducted systematically through several stages, including orientation, determining the central idea, developing main branches and sub-branches, expanding the map into a complete speech text, and presenting the final work followed by reflection. The implementation of this model helped students organize ideas more systematically, enhance creativity, develop coherent speech outlines, increase classroom participation, and improve self-confidence in delivering speeches. Supporting factors included teachers' instructional competence, engaging learning media, and students' enthusiasm. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors consisted of differences in students' abilities, limited instructional time, and students' unfamiliarity with using Mind Mapping as a writing strategy. Overall, the Mind Mapping learning model made a positive contribution to improving the quality of speech text writing instruction in elementary school
