The Use Of Kahoot Instruction Media and the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Method in Poetry Text Instruction for Class XI A Student at SMA Negeri 1 Jiwan, Madiun Regency. Undergraduated Thesis, Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Faculty of Teaching Training and Educatin, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisor (1) Asri Musandi Waraulia, S.Pd., M.Pd and Suoervisor (II) Dedy Richi Rizaldhy, S.Pd., M.Pd. This study on the use oh Kahoot as an instructional tool and the Project Based Learning (PjBL) method in poetry instruction for Class XI A student at SMA Negeri 1 Jiwan, Madiun Regency, aims to: (1) describe the planning for the implementation of Kahoot and the PjBL method in poetry lessons for class XI A strudent at SMA Negeri 1 Jiwan; (2) describe the improvement in student learning outcomes following the application of Kahoot and the PjBL method in poetry instruction: and (3) describe the challenges and solutions associated with implementing Kahoot and the PjBL method in poetry lessons for Class XI A student at SMA Negeri 1 Jiwan. This study employs a qualitative descriptive research method, with teachers and students serving as data sources. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity is established through source triangulation, and the analysis process involves data reduction, data presentation, and data verifitation. The Research fidings indicate that (1) prior to instruction, the teacher developed a teaching module containing poetry material, exercises, answer keys, and assessment rubrics; in coordination with the researcher, the instruction incorporated the Project Based Learning (PjBL) fostering student enthusiasm, developing their critical thinking skills, and achieving learning outcomes above the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) (3) Observations revealed that network connectivity issues pose a fundamental challenge when using instructional media that require a stable internet connection, as such issues can hinder the learning process. Proposed solutions include seeking locstions with stable signals, using a peer’s hotspot if they have a stable connection, and having the school upgrade its internet network facilities.
