Abstract

Analysis of the Influence of Learning Time Management and Self-Efficacy in the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) Model on the Pedagogical Competence Readiness of Prospective Teachers of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Thesis. Economic Education Study Program, FKIP, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisors: (I) Drs. Wikanso, M.Pd., (II) Dr. Ramadhan Prasetya Wibawa, M.Pd. Pedagogical competency readiness is an important aspect that prospective teachers must possess to support the success of learning implementation. In the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, pedagogical competency readiness is influenced by various internal factors, including learning time management and self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the influence of learning time management on pedagogical competency readiness, the influence of self-efficacy on pedagogical competency readiness, and the influence of learning time management and self-efficacy simultaneously on pedagogical competency readiness of prospective teachers of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas PGRI Madiun. This study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The study population was eighth-semester students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas PGRI Madiun, who had completed the School Field Introduction Program (PLP). The study sample consisted of 84 respondents obtained through a sampling technique determined by the researcher. Data collection used a questionnaire, while data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression using IBM SPSS Statistics 25.The results showed that: (1) study time management had a positive and significant effect on pedagogical competency readiness with a calculated t-value of 3.220 and a significance of 0.002; (2) self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on pedagogical competency readiness with a calculated t-value of 5.635 and a significance of 0.000; and (3) study time management and self-efficacy simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on pedagogical competency readiness with a calculated F-value of 150.237 and a significance of 0.000. The results of the study indicate that the better the students' study time management and self-efficacy, the higher the prospective teachers' pedagogical competency readiness.
