Aprinindya Putri Mulia. 2026. The Implementation of a Deep Learning Approach Assisted by Tangram Media to Improve the Numeracy Skills of Fourth-Grade Students at SDN Sukolilo 03. Teacher Education Study Program, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Advisors: (I) Dr. Fauzatul Ma’rufah Rohmanurmeta, M.Pd. (II) Melik Budiarti, S.Sos., M.A. Key Terms: Deep Learning, Tangram Media, Numeracy Skills, Mathematics, Elementary School This study was motivated by the low numeracy skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Sukolilo 03, particularly in the topic of composition and decomposition of plane figures. The students' low numeracy skills were caused by teacher-centered learning practices and the lack of engaging learning media. This study aimed to improve students’ numeracy skills through the implementation of a Deep Learning approach assisted by Tangram media. The research employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which was conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were 20 fourth-grade students of SDN Sukolilo 03, Jiwan District, Madiun Regency, in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the percentage of students achieving numeracy mastery increased from 59% in the initial condition (pre-cycle) to 77% in Cycle I and further increased to 95% in Cycle II, which was categorized as very good. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of a Deep Learning approach assisted by Tangram media is effective in improving the numeracy skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Sukolilo 03.
