Abstract
This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model assisted by Wordwall media on the problem-solving ability of fifth-grade elementary school students in plane geometry topics. This research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method using an Interrupted Time Series Design. The sample consisted of 22 fifth-grade students of SDN 01 Manisrejo selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected through pretests, posttests, and documentation. The research instrument was an essay test on mathematical problem-solving ability that had been tested for validity and reliability. The validity test results showed that 9 out of 10 items were valid, while the reliability test yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.800, indicating that the instrument was reliable. The results revealed an improvement in students’ problem-solving abilities after the treatment was implemented. The mean pretest score of 52.27 increased to 88.27 on the posttest. The hypothesis testing using the t-test obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model assisted by Wordwall media is effective in improving the plane geometry problem-solving abilities of fifth-grade elementary school students.
