Abstract

Implementation of Deep Learning Approach Through Genially Web Learning Media to Improve Science Learning Outcomes of Fourth Grade Students of SDN Sukolilo 03 This research is motivated by the low science learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN Sukolilo 03. Based on the results of initial observations, the learning process is still teacher-centered, the use of learning media is still limited, and student involvement in learning is not optimal. These conditions have an impact on low student learning outcomes, which is indicated by the percentage of learning completeness in the pre-cycle stage of 30% with an average value of 61.75. This study aims to improve science learning outcomes through the implementation of deep learning approaches through Genially web learning media in fourth grade students of SDN Sukolilo 03. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is implemented in two cycles. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 20 fourth grade students of SDN Sukolilo 03 consisting of 10 male students and 10 female students. Data collection techniques used include observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes in each cycle. The results showed that the application of the deep learning approach assisted by the Genially web learning media can improve students’ science learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle stage, the percentage of student learning completion was 30% with an average score of 61.75. After the actions were carried out in Cycle I, the percentage of learning completion increased to 60% with an average score of 73. In Cycle II, there was another increase with the percentage of learning completion reaching 100% and an average score of 80.75. In addition, student activeness during the learning process also increased in each cycle. Thus, the application of the deep learning approach assisted by the Genially web learning media was proven to improve the science learning outcomes of fourthgrade students at SDN Sukolilo 03
