Abstract

Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model integrated with the Augmented Reality (AR) based Assempas medium. The research method is based on a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest-posttest design to determine the effects or changes that occur after the intervention. The subjects of this study were fifth-grade students at SDN Teguhan 02, Jiwan, Madiun. The instrument used was a validated and reliable learning outcome test. The data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The results of the data analysis showed a significant increase in students’ average scores, with the pretest score of 44.29 rising sharply to 97.50 on the posttest. These results were further confirmed by the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, which yielded an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (< 0.05). These findings empirically prove that the intervention had a significant positive effect. Therefore, the combination of the STAD model and AR based Assempas media proved effective in boosting elementary school students’ IPAS learning outcomes. This success offers an innovative alternative for educators to create an interactive, student-centered classroom environment and to make abstract IPAS material more concrete through real-world learning experiences.
