Keywords: speaking skills, learning methods, examples non-examples and picture media This study aims to describe (1) the implementation of the example-non-example This study aims to describe the application of the example-non-example learning method assisted by image media can improve the speaking skills of class II students of SD Negeri Sumberarum II, Ngraho District, Bojonegoro Regency and (2) the learning outcomes of class II students of SD Negeri Sumberarum II, Ngraho District, Bojonegoro Regency in speaking learning using the example-non-example learning method assisted by image media. This study is a classroom action research with two research cycles. The results of this study are (1) the application of the example-non-example learning method assisted by image media can improve the speaking skills of class II students of SD Negeri Sumberarum II, Ngraho District, Bojonegoro Regency. This is evidenced by the teacher's activity during learning in cycle I, meeting 1, obtained a percentage of 83.33%, then at meeting 1, an increase of 91.67%. Teacher activity during learning in cycle II, meeting 1, obtained a percentage of 91.67% and at meeting 2, obtained a percentage of 100%. Student learning activities during learning in cycle I, meeting 1, obtained a percentage of 66.66%, then in meeting 2 it increased to 91.67%. Student learning activities during learning in cycle II, meeting 1, obtained a percentage of 91.67% and in meeting 2, obtained a percentage of 100%, and (2) the learning outcomes of second-grade students of SD Negeri Sumberarum II, Ngraho District, Bojonegoro Regency in speaking learning using the example-non-example learning method assisted by Image media are known that the results of completeness in the pre-cycle are 20%, completeness in the example model cycle I is 58.33% and has increased in cycle II by 87.5% and success has reached ≥ 85%. Completeness in the example-non-example learning method assisted by Image media cycle I is 33.33% and has increased in cycle II by 83.33%. the study can serve as a guideline for teachers in selecting appropriate learning methods to improve the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process.
