Abstract

The Effect of Work Discipline, Work Motivation, and the Work Environment towards the Performance of Alfamart Employees in Madiun. This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline, work motivation, and the work environment towards the performance of Alfamart employees in Madiun. The background of this research is based on the increasing number of retail businesses and retail stores in Indonesia, where more jobs are available, more jobs are needed, and the population is also growing. In the current era of globalization, retail businesses must address future challenges to survive, and one way to do this is through employee development or "Human Resources" development. The method used in this study was a qualitative approach and direct interviews, supported by quantitative methods using questionnaires. The sampling technique used saturated sampling with a total of 116 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using research instrument testing, classical assumption testing, descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, and coefficients of determination. The results show that work discipline, work motivation, and the work environment have a positive and significant effect towards the performance of Alfamart employees in Madiun. These findings provide important implications for companies in developing adaptive human resource management strategies to enhance overall organizational performance.
