Abstract

Sherly Makeup is a beauty service business that still uses manual ordering methods through social media, leading to frequent scheduling errors and inefficiencies in service management. To address these issues, a website-based ordering system was developed to facilitate better interaction between customers and service providers. This study applies the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, consisting of requirements planning, system design, development, and implementation phases. The system was built using PHP with the Laravel framework and MySQL as the database management system. The results show that the system allows customers to place orders, select services and schedules, make payments, and submit testimonials. Administrators can efficiently manage service data, orders, reports, and inventory. System testing was carried out using the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) to evaluate user readiness in adopting the system.The implementation of this system is expected to improve service efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction in the beauty service booking process.
