Abstract
Learning outcomes are an important indicator for measuring students' understanding and success in participating in the learning process. However, the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 01 Manisrejo are still considered low. This is due to the teacher's continued use of the lecture method, which does not actively involve students and lacks the support of engaging learning models and media. The lack of variety in the learning process causes students to be less focused and unenthusiastic about learning. Based on this problem, this study aims to determine the effect of the Cooperative learning model of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type assisted by Baamboozle media on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a True Experimental Design method. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling, with a research sample of 44 students divided into two classes: class IV A as the experimental group and class IV B as the control group. Data were collected using a multiple-choice test that had been tested for validity, reliability, discriminating power, and difficulty level. The data analysis techniques used in this study include normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using a t-test with Microsoft Excel. The results of the study show that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and those in the control class. The experimental class, which used the NHT learning model assisted by Baamboozle media, obtained a higher average post-test score compared to the control class. This indicates that the Cooperative learning model of the Numbered Heads Together type assisted by Baamboozle media has a positive effect on improving the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students.
