Abstract

ABSTRACT Sri Wahyuni. 2026. The Implementation of the Quizizz-Assisted Flipped Classroom Learning Model to Improve Student Engagement and Learning Outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for Grade V Students at SDN Ngegong, Madiun City. Thesis, Madiun : Master of Social Science Education Study Program, Graduate Program Pascasarjana , Universitas PGRI Madiun. Advisors: Dr. Nurhadji Nugraha, S.Pd., M.M., Co-Advisor Dr. Yudi Hartono, M.Pd. Keywords: Quizizz-Assisted Flipped Classroom, Student Engagement, Learning Outcomes, Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). This study aims to improve student engagement and learning outcomes in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject for Grade V students at SDN Ngegong through the implementation of the Flipped Classroom learning model assisted by Quizizz media. This research is motivated by low student participation and learning outcomes that have not met the mastery criteria. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The research subjects consisted of 28 Grade V students at SDN Ngegong. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and non-test techniques, including observation and documentation. Data analysis was conducted quantitatively to measure the success indicators of student engagement and learning outcomes. The results showed a significant improvement in each cycle. Student engagement increased from 60.71% in Cycle I to 85.64% in Cycle II. In line with this, the mastery of student learning outcomes also increased from 57.14% in Cycle I to 89.29% in Cycle II. The implementation of the Quizizz-assisted Flipped Classroom model proved effective in improving engagement and IPAS learning outcomes for Grade V students at SDN Ngegong. This model can serve as a reference for teachers to create more interactive learning environments.
