Abstract
This research aims to develop interactive learning media in the form of videduquiz to improve explanatory text writing skills in early phase C students. This media is designed to address the limitations of conventional learning, which still focuses on textbooks and worksheets, as well as students' low explanatory writing skills. The development model used is the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Subjects for limited and extensive trials were conducted on fifth-grade students of SDN Giripurno. Validation results from material experts and media experts indicate that the videduquiz media is very suitable for use with a feasibility level of 88%. Teacher response to the media reached 100%, and student responses showed a level of interest and active engagement with an average percentage of 91%. Student learning outcomes showed a significant increase in explanatory text writing skills after using the videduquiz media. Overall, the videduquiz media was deemed effective in improving students' explanatory text writing skills and can be used as an alternative, innovative and engaging learning medium.
