Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of digital animated video learning media integrated with the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in Civics Education (PPKn) for second-grade students at SDN Bagi 03 Madiun. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The findings show that using animated video media within a CTL framework significantly enhances student interest, understanding, and engagement in learning Pancasila values. Despite several obstacles such as limited time, varying student abilities, and teachers' technological readiness, these were overcome with careful planning and technical support. Therefore, the combination of animated video and CTL is proven to be an effective and engaging instructional innovation for PPKn.
