Abstract
This study aims to determine the mathematical literacy skills of students with introvert and extrovert personality types. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires, written tests, interviews and documentation. Qualitative data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity is obtained by comparing written test data with interview data through triangulation techniques. The results of this study were obtained: (1) Students with an introvert personality type in the formulating component are able to identify all existing problems and change them into mathematical models, in the using component students can apply designs to find problem solutions and in the interpreting component students can restate the solutions obtained into real-world contexts. (2) Students with an extrovert personality type in the formulating component are able to identify existing problems and change them into mathematical models, in the using component students have difficulty applying designs to find problem solutions while in the interpreting component students have not been able to restate the solutions obtained into real-world contexts.
