Abstract
This study focused on the implementation of the RADEC learning model at SDN Sugihwaras 2. The focus of this study is the application of the RADEC model in terms of critical thinking skills in grade VI students. The research subjects totalled 7 children, including 1 boy and 6 girls. The type of research used is qualitative with a case study method to find out the actual conditions of the case under study. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interview, and documentation methods. This research uses technical triangulation and source triangulation to test the credibility of the data. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the application of the RADEC learning model went well starting from the stages and students' experience in understanding learning. However, there are obstacles, namely students are less conducive when discussing. Based on the average test scores, student's critical thinking skills have increased. Student's activeness and participation also increased when applying the model in class. It can be concluded that the application of the RADEC learning model can improve the activeness and critical thinking skills of grade VI students. Teachers should maximise the application of the RADEC learning model in the classroom as a solution to the lack of critical thinking skills and to increase student activeness during learning.
