Abstract
This research was conducted based on learning activities carried out for class II students at SDN 4 Wates, Slahung District, Ponorogo Regency, that their achievement in learning to write stories in Indonesian language subjects was still low. This is because teachers and students have not found the right methods and media for this learning activity. Using the Drill method and series of images as learning media for class II students was able to improve student learning achievement. This can be seen from the increase in learning outcomes in pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2, the average student score is above the KKM. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which is carried out in two cycles. Data collected through observation, tests and documentation on all 8 students in class II of SD Negeri 4 Wates for the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of research on rhyme writing skills, in cycle I classical completeness was 75%, and in cycle II completeness classic at 100%. Classical mastery of story writing skills based on series of pictures has increased by 25%. Based on the results above, it can be said that using series of picture media in writing children's stories can get good results. This shows that the teacher succeeded in using series of picture media to improve learning outcomes in writing stories. Apart from improving learning outcomes, the use of series image media can also increase students' learning motivation.
