Abstract
This study aims to develop effective Semesta Sains teaching materials in improving the science literacy skills of grade 4 students at SD Negeri 2 Joho. The method used in this study is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The development process begins with a needs analysis, followed by the design and development of teaching materials, and classroom trials. The results of the study indicate that the teaching materials developed have good quality, with validation from media experts and learning material experts. Field trials showed a significant increase in students' science literacy skills. The average score of students' science literacy increased after using the teaching materials. The conclusion of this study is that the Semesta Sains teaching materials developed are effective in improving the science literacy skills of grade 4 students. This study is expected to be a reference for the development of better science teaching materials in elementary schools.
