Abstract

The Effect of CEO Gender, Board of Directors Size, and Independent Board of Commissioners Size towards Firm Value with Company Size as a Moderating Variable (Case Study on Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2021-2023 Period). The aim of this study was to empirically test the effect of CEO gender, board of directors size, and independent board of commissioners size towards firm value with company size as a moderating variable in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2021-2023 period. The population of this study was 165 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The total sample in this study was 361 companies determined by purposive sampling. The design in this study used a quantitative approach model. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS application. The results of the study show: 1) There is a positive and significant effect of CEO Gender towards firm value. 2) There is a positive and significant effect of board of directors size towards firm value with company size as a moderating variable. 3) There is a positive and significant influence of the size of the independent board of commissioners towards firm value. 4) Company size is able to moderate the influence of CEO Gender towards firm value. 5) Company size is able to moderate the influence of the size of the board of directors towards firm value. 6) Company size is able to moderate the influence of the size of the independent board of commissioners on firm value.
