Abstract
The background of this research is the overly monotonous IPAS learning provided to 5th grade students at SD Negeri in Siman District. Most teachers teach conventionally and do not adequately accommodate the diverse learning styles of students. This study aims to develop an AI based e-portfolio learning media specifically designed to enhance student self-directed learning in IPAS for 5th grade students in Siman District, Ponorogo Regency. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The initial stage of the research involves a needs analysis to understand the gaps in student self-directed learning and identify AI features that can support learning. The design of the e-portfolio learning media integrates AI technology to provide automatic feedback, learning progress analysis, and personalized learning material recommendations. Development is carried out through prototype creation tested on a small scale, followed by full implementation and evaluation to measure its effectiveness. The results of the study show that the AI-based e-portfolio learning media meets the material feasibility criteria with a score of 4.4, design feasibility with a score of 4.4, and language feasibility with a score of 4.6. This media significantly improves student self-directed learning by 90% and increases student understanding by 10.6 points. Students are better able to manage study time, plan tasks, and utilize automatic feedback to correct mistakes and deepen understanding. Additionally, student engagement in learning increases thanks to the interactive and personalized features provided by AI technology. The study concludes that the development of AI-based e-portfolio learning media is an effective innovation to support student self-directed learning, particularly in the context of IPAS learning with the topic "Bumiku Sayang, Bumiku Malang" in 5th grade.
