Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine the difference in the effect of learning aided by Edpuzzle and Power Point media on student learning outcomes, (2) determine the learning media that is more effective for improving student learning outcomes, on the material of work and energy. This type of research is an experiment with the type of quasi-experiment. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling technique with the selected classes being X2 and X4 classes in one of the state high schools in Madiun City. Data collection techniques through observation activities and tests in the form of pre-tests and post-tests in each class. The research results obtained are: (1) there is a difference in the effect of learning aided by Edpuzzle and Power Point to improve student learning outcomes indicated by the acquisition of a sig value of 0.000 <0.05, and (2) the use of Edpuzzle learning media is more effective than the use of Power Point to improve student learning outcomes on the material Effort and Energy, as evidenced by the acquisition of Ngain scores on Edpuzzle, which is 68.39% with fairly effective criteria, while for Power Point it is 47.52% with less effective criteria.
