Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes in Professional Ethics learning. This classroom action research uses a cooperative learning model of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type. The subjects in the study were 34 students of class X AKL 2 SMK Negeri 2 Madiun. This study was conducted with 3 research cycles where each cycle consisted of planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques were carried out using documentation and tests to determine student learning outcomes. The results of the study showed that in cycle I, which focused on adapting the STAD method, the average learning outcomes of students above the KKM (Minimum Completion Criteria) reached 56%. Furthermore, cycle II was carried out by focusing on dividing groups heterogeneously, the results were that the average learning outcomes of students reached 92%. In cycle III, the application of the STAD method by providing motivation and rewards to students who were active in learning. In cycle III, the learning outcomes of students above the KKM reached 100%.
