Abstract
This research was conducted to determine the role of Civics Learning in Efforts to Form Pancasila Student Profiles for Class 7A Students at SMPN 2 Ngadirojo, Ngadirojo District, Pacitan Regency for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the extent of the role of PPKn learning in efforts to form a Pancasila Student Profile for students. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that PPKn learning at SMP N 2 Ngadirojo plays a role in efforts to form the Pancasila Student Profile. This can be seen from the application of various interesting and varied learning methods, as well as providing habituation and character cultivation through various activities. However, there are several obstacles in implementing PPKn learning, namely environmental factors and different student characteristics, as well as a lack of understanding of the material and character that still needs to be formed in grade 7 students. Efforts made to overcome these obstacles are using in-depth understanding of the material. in Civics learning, providing habituation and character cultivation through various activities, as well as working together with parents to instill moral and spiritual values in children. The conclusion obtained in this research is Civics Learning at SMP N 2 Ngadirojo, Ngadirojo District, Pacitan Regency for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. needs to continue to be improved with various interesting and varied learning methods, as well as providing habituation and sustainable character cultivation. Collaboration between teachers, parents and students is very necessary to achieve the goal of establishing the Pancasila Student Profile. Keywords: PPKn Learning, Pancasila Student Profile
