Abstract

Gender relations are relationships between two different genders, namely women and men. This relationship is established in marriage, namely husband and wife build a household together. In domestic life, gender relations exist. The relationship between women and men in the novel Majnun by Anton Kurnia is not going well because it results in a relationship that is not harmonious, even unhealthy for married couples because men have more power than women so men can do whatever they want. Woman. Women experience gender injustice from the relationships they create with men. This is in line with the Sexual Contract theory in marriage proposed by Carole Pateman. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method in the form of a literature study. Data collection methods from various reference books, journals and articles. The results of this research can be used for literature learning in universities because they have good relevance, including explanations of patterns of gender relations and forms of gender injustice, as well as the causes of gender injustice in the novel Majnun by Anton Kurnia.
