Abstract
This research was conducted because there are still many teachers who need examples of teaching materials based on a contextual approach that can be used in the learning process in the modern era. The main objective of this research is to produce a teaching material product in the form of an e-handout based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach assisted by the Canva application on environmental change material for class X SMA / MA. This research is a type of development research (R&D) using the five steps of the ADDIE development model, namely 1) Analyze, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis was carried out using a Likert scale. The results showed that material validation with an average score of 88 (very valid) and media validation with an average score of 93 (very valid). The students' questionnaire response was 82 with a very feasible category. So, the e-handout based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach assisted by the Canva application on Environmental Change material is declared very valid and suitable for use in the learning process.
