Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' writing skills using the CIRC learning model with animated videos in grade IV. This type of research is classroom action research and uses a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Based on cycle I, it can be seen that the learning conditions are not yet conducive, there are still students who pay less attention to teacher directions regarding animated video media. There are some students who do not understand and need re-explanation from the teacher. Students are enthusiastic when using animated video media, but there are still students who use media outside of learning materials. The results of improvements in the implementation of cycle II have met the desired work indicators. So the researcher decided not to carry out further action research. So it can be said that the CIRC learning model with animated video media in grade IV students can improve writing skills.
