Abstract

Gustin Ardheane F, Development of ABC Flash Card Media for Reading at the Beginning of Class I Elementary School. Thesis. Primary teacher education. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. PGRI Madiun University. Supervisor (1) Tiara Intan Cahyaningtyas, M.Pd. (2) Apri Kartikasari H.S., M.Pd. Learning activities occur between teachers and students, with the aim that students can understand the learning material. Media suitability and innovation need to be considered in initial reading activities so that students do not get bored and bored. This research aims to develop ABC Flash Card media for reading at the beginning of grade I elementary school. This research uses Research and Development research by applying the ADDIE model. This research involved 17 grade I students at SD PLUS Darussalam. Data collection through observation, documentation, validation by material experts, media, language, teacher and student response questionnaires. Based on the validation results, material experts got a score of 90.7%, media experts got a score of 87.8%, language experts got a score of 87.4%. Based on the results of the expert assessment, it shows that the development of ABC Flash Card media for beginning reading is suitable for use in elementary schools and is able to achieve the research objectives.
