Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of the PjBL model in class V at SDN Bangunsari 02, which can be used to build students' creative abilities and explain the inhibiting factors in the science and sciences subject on the flow of electrical energy. This research was conducted in the second semester in class V, totaling 22 students. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. This research stage includes several stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results show that the application of the PjBL model in building student creativity in learning activities regarding the flow of electrical energy is in accordance with the aspects determined by the researchers, namely the fluency aspect, flexibility aspect, authenticity aspect, detail aspect and sensitivity aspect. Students have shown an attitude where they are seen to have creative thinking abilities where students have been able to work in making simple electrical energy projects. Students have been able to create the project according to their own unique thoughts and express it in ideas and thoughts in their group. In various data collection methods, children also appear to be tenacious, patient and painstaking when working on the PjBL project. The assessment results for the five aspects are included in the good and very good categories. Apart from that, the obstacle factors that exist in this research are time delays in work, different student characters, and student behavior that can hinder the process of creating a PjBL project. However, all of these obstacle factors have been accompanied by solutions from researchers that can be used by teachers to overcome these obstacles.
