Abstract

s research is based on the initial conditions of learning at SDN 01 Winongo, namely the low learning outcomes of Mathematics subjects, low student learning outcomes, and the use of learning models and media that are not yet varied resulting in less than optimal student learning outcomes. The use of old methods or lectures can make classroom learning boring, resulting in students not wanting to learn, so researchers use the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Scrapbook media to improve learning outcomes because there is a problem that students must solve, assisted by Scrapbook media that can attract students' attention and motivation in learning. The purpose of the problem in this study is how effective is the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Scrapbook media compared to the Scrapbook model on the learning outcomes of Mathematics subjects at SDN 01 Winongo. This type of research is an experiment with a Quasi Experiment form using the Posttest Only Control Design research type. In this study, the research instrument uses RPP and syllabus to facilitate the learning process, then the data analysis used is the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. So that the results of the Test in this study can be described as follows. The results of the t-test of student learning outcomes in mathematics with the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Scrapbooks media are known to have a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.02. Based on the decision-making criteria, it shows that 0.02 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So there is an effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Scrapbooks media on student learning outcomes in Mathematics for grade III students of State Elementary School 01 Winongo.
