Abstract
This research is motivated by several obstacles that occur during the learning process at school. This study aims to describe several aspects in the implementation of the PBL model with the help of Genially media, such as in the aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation in the application of PBL with the help of Genially media, this can have an impact on the learning process, especially in IPAS subjects which are a combination of natural science and social science subjects. The type of research used in this study is qualitative and data collection is done by triangulation or a combination of observation interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were 28 people, consisting of 1 class teacher and 27 fourth grade students of SDN 01 Jiwan. The results showed that the application of the PBL model with the help of Genially media helped overcome the problems faced by class IV, namely student boredom and lack of courage in presenting work results in front of the class. The learning process that familiarizes students with problem-based learning through discussion helps students obtain information and share opinions with others, so that they are able to find solutions to the problems faced in their own way or understanding. Thus making the role of students more involved during the learning process. The teacher's role as a facilitator is more effective in leading students to explore and understand the material.
