Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the learning achievement of students in class VII-I of SMP Negeri 1 Mejayan in writing descriptive texts through the cooperative learning model of the group investigation type and image media, (2) describe the collaboration skills of students in class VII-I of SMP Negeri 1 Mejayan in writing descriptive texts through the cooperative learning model of the group investigation type and image media, (3) describe the learning activity of students in class VII-I of SMP Negeri 1 Mejayan in writing descriptive texts through the cooperative learning model of the group investigation type and image media. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the research subjects being the writing skills of class VII-I students of SMP Negeri 1 Mejayan, Madiun Regency, in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four components: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.
