Abstract
This research aims to describe the application of the inquiry learning model in learning to write narrative paragraphs in class IV students at SDN 2 Plalangan, Jenangan District, Ponorogo Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are that the application of the inquiry learning model in learning to write narratives for Class IV students at SDN 2 Plalangan, Jenangan District, Ponorogo Regency, can be said to have run smoothly. Learning activities are stated to be quite effective and focused. Students' enthusiasm for learning can be seen in their activeness in class with enthusiasm for learning, students' skills in working on questions given by the teacher. This effectiveness is proven by the results of observations and interviews that students are more comfortable in expressing ideas based on personal experience.
