Abstract
This research aims to describe the use of the Concept Sentence method with the traditional game Ulgara Saka Rangka in improving the ability to write simple sentences, learning outcomes and obstacles faced. The Classroom Action Research (PTK) method was applied to class II students at SDIT Harapan Ummat. Data was collected through tests, non-test techniques, observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that the Concept Sentence method using the Ulgara Saka Rangka game media significantly improved students' ability to write simple sentences. The average score of students' writing ability increased from 66 before the research to 76 in Cycle I and 83 in Cycle II. Of the 22 students, 19 students (86%) achieved a score above the KKM. Students also show increased motivation and interest in learning during learning. This research shows that the Concept Sentence method using the game Ulgara Saka Rangka is effective in improving the ability to write simple sentences in class II students at SDIT Harapan Ummat. The obstacles faced mainly come from aspects of infrastructure and other factors.
