Abstract

Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) in the classroom are still focused on conventional learning models accompanied by media as support but could be more optimal. Apart from that, student learning outcomes in science and science subjects are still low, as seen from the mid-semester exam scores. The strategy for overcoming existing problems is implementing a PJBL learning model based on waste recycling to increase creativity and learning outcomes. Class X Busana 2 students' creativity must be honed to channel their ideas. This research aims to (1) determine the application of the waste recycling-based PjBL learning process to increase the creativity and learning outcomes of the class and (3) determine the application of the PJBL learning model based on waste recycling to improve the learning outcomes of class X students at SMKN 1 Wonoasri. The type of research used is quantitative research with quasi-experimental methods. The results of this research are (1) there is an increase in student creativity after implementing the PJBL learning model, (2) there is an increase in students who are classified as good with an average of 83.16 after implementing the PJBL learning model based on waste recycling as evidenced by the results of the creativity assessment and ( 3) there is a moderate increase in student learning outcomes as evidenced by the N-Gain value of 0.30 < 0.56 < 0.70 while the T table with df 36 is at a significance level of 0.000. Therefore, the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05, which means that this research is accepted, namely that there is an increase in creativity and learning outcomes with applying the PJBL learning model.
