Abstract

Character education is something that every student must have in the learning process to support economic learning outcomes in business economics subjects. Assisted by a supportive learning environment and the right learning style will bring learning results with maximum student success. This research aims to determine the influence of character education and a learning environment with learning styles on the economic learning outcomes of business economics students at SMK Negeri 5 Madiun, using quantitative research methods and assisted by data processing using the IBM SPPS Statistics application program version 25. Research data collection techniques using how to use questionnaires sent via WhatsApp groups and documentation of student report cards. This research took respondents in two classes XI BD 1 and XI BD 2, totaling 57 respondents. The results of this research can show that in the t test (partial test) the character education variable (X₁) on learning style (Z) has a significance of 0.004 < 0.05. The t test (partial test) of the learning environment variable (X₂) on learning style (Z) was found to have a significance of 0.003 < 0.05. The f test of the learning style variable (Z) on economic learning outcomes (Y) shows a significance of 0.001 < 0.05. The f test of the character education variable (X₁) on economic learning outcomes (Y) shows a significance of 0.004 < 0.05. The f test of the learning environment variable (X₂) on economic learning outcomes (Y) shows a significance of 0.003 < 0.05. The path analysis test or path test of character education variables (X₁) and learning environment (X₂) on economic learning outcomes (Y) with learning style (Z) shows a significance value of 0.050 < 0.05.
