Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Take and Give learning model assisted by flashcards on the IPAS learning outcomes of 4th grade students at SDN Manguharjo. The research uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a non-equivalent control group. The subjects are 39 students from SDN Manguharjo, divided into an experimental group (class 4A, 22 students) and a control group (class 4B, 17 students). Data collection instruments include a pretest and posttest on IPAS learning outcomes. Data analysis is conducted using the Mann-Whitney test to compare the average results between the experimental and control groups. The results show a significant improvement in student learning outcomes in the experimental group using the Take and Give model with flashcards compared to before the intervention. The Take and Give model assisted by flashcards is effective in enhancing material understanding and student engagement in IPAS learning. The conclusion is that implementing the Take and Give model with flashcards positively impacts IPAS learning outcomes for 4th grade students at SDN Manguharjo. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers consider this learning model as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes.
