Abstract

Student learning at SDIT Badrussalam in Pancasila Education subjects tends to be passive. Classroom learning is only about delivering material so that students do not understand the material being studied. This condition has an impact on low student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model assisted by animated videos on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education of grade IV students at SDIT Badrussalam. This study is a type of quantitative research with a true experimental design method with a posttest only control design type of research. The subjects of the study were students of grade IV A and grade IV B at SDIT Badrussalam. The sample used in this study was selected using a simple random sampling technique. The technique of collecting learning outcome data used a test technique (posttest). The data analysis technique is by instrument testing and prerequisite testing. The instrument test consists of a validity test, reliability test, discriminatory power test, and difficulty level test. The prerequisite test includes a normality and homogeneity test. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the POE learning model has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of elementary school students' Pancasila Education. This is supported by the results of the hypothesis test where t count (2.5225) > t table (2.0106) so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on these calculations, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the POE learning model assisted by animated videos on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education of grade IV students of SDIT Badrussalam.
