Abstract

Self-control and peer conformity on prosocial behavior at SMKN 5 Madiun have decreased participation from students in social activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-control and peer conformity on the prosocial behavior of class XI students of SMKN 5 Madiun. This study uses a quantitative correlation approach with a total sample of 161 students. The technique used for data collection is to use three questionnaires, namely a self-control questionnaire, a peer conformity questionnaire, and a prosocial behavior questionnaire. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression tests. The results of this study indicate that self-control and peer conformity together have an influence on prosocial behavior. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence between self-control and peer conformity on the prosocial behavior of Class XI students of SMKN 5 Madiun.
