Abstract
Learning problems often occur nowadays, resulting in less than optimal learning outcomes. The problems faced by students are related to learning motivation. The methods and models chosen by teachers have an important influence on the implementation of learning. The aim of this research is to describe: (1) the application of the outing class learning model using the brainstorming method in science and science learning for class IV students at SD Negeri 2 Trisono; (2) improving science and science learning outcomes using the outing class learning model with the brainstorming method for class IV students at SD Negeri 2 Trisono. This type of research is classroom action research and has a qualitative approach. Data was collected by observation, interviews, tests and documentation. Based on the initial value data, it shows that the learning outcomes in the pre-cycle obtained a student completion percentage of 27%, so it can be categorized as still unsatisfactory. The learning results in cycle I obtained a student completion percentage of 55%, so it can be categorized as quite satisfactory. And the learning results in cycle II obtained a percentage of 91% so that it could be categorized as very good. So there is a significant increase in students' science learning outcomes. Based on the research obtained, it can be seen that learning through the outing class learning model with the brainstorming method can make it easier for students to absorb learning material about the influence of forces on objects in science subjects so that there is an increase in learning outcomes.
