Abstract

This research was conducted to test the effect of digital flashcard learning media on understanding science concepts in science learning in class IV SDN 01 Mojorejo. Natural and Social Sciences are subjects applied at elementary school level in accordance with the Independent Curriculum. In science and science lessons there is a discussion about natural science (IPA) or science. Science learning is very important to understand and apply in everyday life because science always coexists with human life. In science learning, there are indicators for analyzing various energy transformations in everyday life and concluding the transformation process in its changes, such as the form of motion energy into sound, heat, heat, electricity, and many more transformations in everyday life. This research uses a quantitative approach with this type of quasi-experimental research and using a pre-test and post-test research design to measure the level of success in conducting research at SDN 01 Mojorejo. The sampling technique uses non-probable sampling technique. The sample in this research was 20 class IV students at SDN 01 Mojorejo Madiun. The data collection technique in this research uses a multiple choice test and the comprehension test uses instruments in the form of questionnaires and documentation as supporting research attachments. The results of the thesis research data analysis show that there is a significant difference upwards as indicated by the mean value of the two tests carried out by the researcher. The average or mean produced in the pre-test results was 85.00 and the mean in the post-test test results was 79.868. From these data, the researcher concluded that the Digital Flashcard learning media had an influence on the results of understanding science concepts in science learning in class IV.
